Plant Groups

Plant Groups provide the highest level of grouping of Plant for filtering and reporting purposes, and is used in conjunction with plant Classes as the second tier of Plant Item grouping.
e.g. a Plant Group of Compressors may then have Plant Classes of Diesel Powered Compressors and Petrol Powered Compressors

A Plant Group Code (up to 20 characters, but use of 5 is recommended), Description (up to 50 characters) and Details (2000 characters) can be entered

A Plant Group will then have one or more Plant Classes attached to it

A Plant Group is attached to each Plant Item
