Plant Statistics

Plant Statistics of a quantitative or monetary value can be captured against Plant Items. Examples would be the recording of various types of downtime, day Breakdowns and Wet Time
Statistic Type and SubType Codes are set up in the Plant Statistic Type Maintenance screen.

Entry of Statistics is provided for from the Statistics button on Plant Management, or the Plant Statistics Entry menu item on the Plant Transactions menu.

Data captured is:

• Plant Item
• Statistic Type; mandatory
• Statistic Sub Type; optional
• Quantity; mandatory
• Value; optional monetary value
• Reference; optional text

Further optional data at the bottom of the screen is:

• Plant Component and Subcomponent (see Setup section)
• Plant Service order to which this statistic relates
• Details; optional text

Plant Revenue
When a Plant Issue is made to a job, the Plant Item receives a revenue credit, effectively a 'sale' of the plant time. For a Plant Item, the Sales button on the Enquiry screen displays this revenue from the Plant Issue transaction.

Note that this is not an invoice in the system. It is simply the revenue credit corresponding to the costs charged to the job on the Plant Issue.
This is treated as revenue in Plant Reporting.
