Cost Sheet Edit_Entry
There are two distinct parts to Maintain Quotes:
Quote
This encompasses all the header detail of the quote.
Cost Sheet
This is where all the values are built up.
Enter the Cost Sheet Tab to view a summary of the existing Cost Sheets or to create a new one.
Copy Cost Sheet
Use this facility to bring in Cost Sheets from an existing Quote or Template.
- Select Quote or Template to copy from. This will display all Cost Sheets from which you select and confirm.
- You have the facility to search for the Quote or Template and to reprice and recost the new Quote. This will reprice from the Item, Employee Class, Price Code or Activity. Otherwise the Price will remain consistent with the Copied Template or Quote.
Reprice / Recost
- Use this facility to reprice or recost the whole quote.
The maintenance of the Cost sheet/s will depend on how you will utilize the Cost Sheets in relation to:

Job Structure |
You can have a Job per quote or a Job per Cost Sheet. |
This would make it possible to have a Header Job and a number of Subjobs, one for each Cost Sheet. |
Bill of Materials |
How will you utililise SubAssembly (Bill of Material) lines? |
You could have one SubAssembly per Cost Sheet or a number of SubAssemblies per Cost sheet. |
Invoicing |
You can have the Quote header producing a Sales Invoice line. |
You can have the Cost Sheet headers producing the Sales Invoice lines. You can have Cost Sheet lines generating Sales Invoice lines |

Are you utilising Quantities and Bill of Materials to provide variable costings |
