Profit Centre Groups

Every Workbench User with a Login must belong to at least one Profit Centre Group, set up in People Maintenance.





With all Job data belonging to Profit Centre's it is possible to restrict data views by limiting Profit Centre's to specific Profit Centre Groups that may comprise one or many Profit Centre's.

For Example:

  • Job Managers may be allowed to view their own Profit Centre only but Admin staff may be required to view numerous Profit Centres.
  • This would mean that there would be a Profit Centre Group with one Profit Centre in it, and the Job Manager would belong to that group.
  • There would be a Profit Centre Group comprising of many Profit Centres and the Admin Staff would belong to this group.
  • A User can only view, access and report on jobs in their Profit Centre Group.
