Job Management

This program provides users with the opportunity to select a list of jobs and to easily select different Workbench functions to use in relation to a job selected.

You can view

  • summarised Job Detail information – Job List
  • summarised Job Financial information - Financial

JOB LIST

Filter Criteria
Enter the required filter criteria and then click on 'DISPLAY' to display a list of jobs that meet this criteria. You can remove your Filter criteria by pressing 'REMOVE FILTER' for another selection

Functions
Access to the function buttons displayed on the left of this screen is determined by the Security Admin Function setup.

  • Select a job by clicking at the start of the required job row and then click on the required function button.
  • Double Click on the arrow at the left of the line will take you into Job Enquiry
  • Right Click on the Job Number will bring up a box for Job Enquiry and Job Maintenance.
  • Right Click on the Client will allow maintenance of the Company record.

Buttons at the top of the screen allow quick access to:

  • ACTIONS
  • TIMESHEETS
  • COMPANIES
  • NEW JOB

There are Security Admin functions that control the access to these buttons.

FINANCIAL

  • Total Job and selected Period financial data is displayed.
  • Surplus/(Deficit) % can be based on Margin (Sell) or Markup (Cost) dependant on the Control Parameter 'Job Margin Display'.

PROJECT ENQUIRY – Jobs with Sub Jobs

Double clicking an arrow to the left of the Job Code in the Job Management screen will take you to the Enquiry for Jobs with SubJobs screen if the Job selected is a Parent Job. This enquiry details the costs and revenue totals for the Sub Jobs attached to the Parent Job selected.

  • Drill Down
  • Double click at the start of the required job row and this will load the job enquiry screen.
