Action Types are associated with any "Actions" which may be created in relation to a Job. An Action can be analysed on the basis of this code. It assists in filtering and searching. At least on Action Type must be set up as the creation of an Action cannot be completed without a Type.

Period
The Number of 'Period Type' when calculating the Required Date on the new action
Period Type
Eg. Day, Week, Month. Used when calculating the Required Date on the new action
Recurring
Whether this Action Type can be used in the recurring Action scenario.
