Highlighting Controls

When translating a screen, it is often helpful to know where on the screen the text is being used. To assist with this Workbench will automatically highlight the text being used on the screen. There are some exceptions to this:

• If the control on the screen is hidden or disabled, it cannot be highlighted.
• Screen captions and tabs cannot be highlighted when a Translation Line for a 'Type' of 'Caption' or 'Tab' is selected.

In some cases this function may need to be disabled temporarily. Simply uncheck the Highlight Control check box to turn this feature off. Recheck it again if you wish to turn the feature back on. It will be on by default next time the translation screen is opened.
