There are two Admin Functions that have an effect on the functions available to the user:

  • Translator
  • Right Click Translation Menu

The 'Translator' Admin Function allows access to the Multi Language right click menu as well as the ability to customise captions & languages via the Translations Screens.

The 'Right Click Translation Menu' allows access to the Multi Language right click menu only.

From the right click menu a user can change the session language, set their own Default Language that will take effect next time they open Workbench, toggle on and off the rebuilding of menus when they change languages, and on some forms resize columns if they have a screen profile set up.

If the user is also given the 'Translator' admin function, then they can open the Translation Screen and enter/edit captions on the screen as well as other system text such as messages.
