Workbench has been designed to readily integrate with various financial software packages. As this integration must by definition involve transfer of data between two systems, easy reconciliation of this transfer is fundamentally important to the financial integrity of both systems.
Batches are the key to this financial integrity by ensuring that the transactions are in the correct period and that there are relevant hash totals for external control.
