Rebuilding menus

Turning the Rebuild Menus option off will leave the Menu in the language it was in when the option was turned off when the session language is changed. The menu will not be rebuilt until this option is turned on, and the session language is changed (or you exit and re-enter the application, in which case the menu will be built in the users selected language).
Rebuilding of menus can be turned off if required (this setting is on by default). This is especially useful if you are doing a lot of translating, flicking between languages and have finished with the menus or are going to do the menus at another time. The online rebuilding of the menus into another language is time consuming if done each time a form is translated
This can be done in one of the following ways:
- Right click Translation Menu if they have the 'Right Click Translation Menu' Admin Function granted.
- 'Who Am I' screen. This option is available to all users, independent of security settings.
From the right click menu, click 'Toggle Rebuild Menus Off' to turn off menu rebuilding. The menu item will now read 'Toggle Rebuild Menus On', and clicking this option again, will turn menu rebuilding back on.
- From the 'Who Am I' screen (available from the Help menu for all users) uncheck the 'Rebuild Menu' check box.
