Creating a New Monitor Record
- Click the New button
- Enter a Job Code, or select from the Job Lookup. The Monitor record created will include transactions and budgets for that selected job and all it's subjobs
- The Created Date defaults to today's date and cannot be changed
- Select a 'Monitor to Timesheet Date'. This will default to the current Timesheet Week Ending Date but can be changed. Note that only one Monitor record can be created for each Job / Timesheet Week Ending Date combination.
- If the Monitor record is to be based on a Year Period, click the radio button for this option. The current Year / Period will default and can be changed. Note that only one Monitor record can be created for each Job / Year / Period combination.
Note that when creating a new Monitor record the previous record is automatically flagged as Complete (and hence is Read Only) to ensure consistency of reporting
