We have the situation where you may require an audit of the catalogue before updating. To facilitate this there is a copy Catalogue function.
The Copy Catalogue button is on the Catalogue Maintenance screen after you have created the Catalogue Header.
Create the Catalogue Header in the normal way.
Remember to enter the Catalogue Date which does not default to today's date.
Then press the Copy Catalogue button.
This will display a drop down of existing Catalogues.
Select the Catalogue that you want to copy from.
Yes. - The Catalogue lines will be duplicated with new Id's.
Make the Catalogue Inactive so that it does not appear in the Catalogue dropdowns.
(Remember to enter into the description the fact that it is a copy for audit purposes)
