A Service Agreement is used to determine various defaults and allowable activities and responses against logs which are performed under the Service Agreement.
Every Log MUST have a Service Agreement. If all Logs are being done on the same basis, simply establish a single Service Agreement and make it the Default Service Agreement. This will then default onto all new Logs

A 20 character code for the Service Agreement
Description
Short Description of the Service Agreement (50 characters)
Details
Long Description of the Service Agreement (unlimited text)
Default Agreement
If set as the default via this checkbox, this Service Agreement is the default when creating a new Log in the Log Maintenance screen, but can be changed
Default Parent Job
The Job Code used as the default Parent Job in the New Job Popup when creating a new job from the New Job button on Logs under this Service Agreement. If this Default Parent Job field is blank then New Job button assumes the job to be created is a Level 1 job.
Inactive
Inactive Service Agreements cannot be used on new Logs

Client Job Source
The source of the Client and / or the Job Code to be used on the Job attached to the Log is controlled by optional choices per Service Agreement
Options
Options from the dropdown are:
Client - a named Client will be used on all Logs under this Service Agreement. Job and Parent Job fields will be blank
Job - a named Job is entered. This Job will default onto all Logs, along with the Client attached to that Job.
Parent Job - a named Parent Job is entered when a Subjob is to be created for each Log. This Job will be used as the default Parent Job when creating a new per Log from the New Job button in Log Maintenance. The Client will be the same as that on the Parent Job, or as determined by the Job template used
Manual - the user will determine the Client and Job Code at the time of creating the job




Default Allocate To
The default person in the Allocate To field on new logs
Default Dispatcher
The default Dispatcher on new logs
Default Log Description
This text will default as the Description on new logs created under this Service Agreement


Note:
The standard Attach File and View File functionality applies to the Service Agreement screen
