The retention calculation is determined by the Retention Code attached to the Contract or Subcontract.
Four methods are supported as described below.

  • Step by Value – Contracts and Subcontracts
  • Step by Percent (Estimate Type) – Contracts and Subcontracts
  • Step by Percent (Sched Type) – Contracts Only
  • Back to Back with Subcontracts
