Pre-Requisites and Assumptions

The following are assumptions and requirements that need to be met before you continue installing Workbench:

Microsoft Product Licencing

• Licencing of Microsoft products are the responsibility of the client.

Technical User Setup Skills Required

The person doing the installation has:

• a working knowledge of IP based networking.
• a working knowledge of Active Directory.
• a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

Required Permissions 

• The user account carrying out the installation has administrator rights on the server that Workbench is to be install onto.
• The user account has sysadmin or sufficient SQL Server rights to backup, restore and configure SQL user permissions.
