Overview

 

OVERVIEW:

This document details the setup requirements for:

  • Creation of a standard directory structure to hold all program files, scripts, reports and other files necessary for the operation of the Workbench software

 

  • Downloading of files into this directory structure

 

  • Creation of the Workbench Microsoft SQL Server database which holds the Workbench data

 

  • Security rights setup over this database

 

  • Creation of the Workbench Licence database to hold the licencing information for your Workbench software

 

  • Installation of Workbench licences

 

  • Installation of Microsoft Access, or a runtime version thereof. This is required to run the Workbench client on each workstation or Citrix / Terminal Server machine.
