Subcontract Retentions Release

To create a Subcontract retention release claim enter either:

• the value to be released into the column 'Value - This Release'
• a % of the total retentions held to be released, in the This Release - % of Balance column. The 'Value - This Release' will then be automatically calculated

Click 'Yes' to confirm.

A Subcontract Claim will have been automatically created against this Subcontract with a Claim line being the retention release .

You can view the Claim that has been released by double clicking the grey button to the left of the Contract Code. This will take you to the Contract screen, from which you can navigate to the latest Claim created, being this Release claim

If you had entered a Next Release Date when creating this claim, it will have updated the Next Retention Release date field on the Dates tab for the contract

Memorandum Retention release Notes can also be added.
