Click the "New" button to create a new Job

Client Account
Use F4 to access Company Lookup to select the required Client.

Job Type
Select whether this job is a Header Job (level 1) or Sub Job (level 2 – 6)

FOR A HEADER JOB

Template
Select the appropriate Template from the dropdown list. This will automatically bring all the details required to populate the Job Masterfile dependent on the Job Template Setup.

Job Name
Should be meaningful and concise. This name is used extensively in screen enquiry and reporting.

Job Details
Enter appropriate details. May be used in reporting if required

Edit/View Defaults
This takes you to the Template selected for editing data prior to acceptance. You only need to go there if there are some defaults which are not part of the template setup and which need to always be entered or changed at the time of job creation.

Create Header Job
Selection of this will create the job according to the edited Template.

This immediately gives the option to automatically create one or more Sub Jobs which will take you to the New SubJob screen
