There are three main aspects to the Plant Module:

PLANT USAGE TRANSACTIONS

  • This is where we use the Plant Item on a Workbench Job. This becomes revenue on the Plant Item and a cost on the Workbench Job.
  • This will mean tracking usage of the Plant Item and processing the transaction

PLANT SERVICE MONITORING

  • This is where we keep track of when the Servicing, or actions such as COF's, WOF's, Vehicle Registrations, etc are required.

This will mean:

  • updating usage for Hours (assumed daily rate) or Km's,
  • creating Plant Service Orders and
  • prompting for the required Service or Action.

ROAD USER CHARGE MONITORING

  • This is where we keep track of prepaid RUC's and when to purchase some more.
  • This will mean utilising the Meter Readings that are entered for the Plant Service Monitoring.
