Works Orders

• A Works Order is effectively a purchase order of a different type. It is the request to the subcontractor to do some work under this subcontract.
• One subcontract will often have multiple Work Orders, as different parts of the subcontract are confirmed and requested from the subcontractor.
• The Work Orders are automatically numbered by the system
• The Work Orders can be printed from the Print and Preview buttons at the top of the screen

WORKS ORDERS CAN BE INITIATED FROM ONE OF THREE WAYS

• From within the Works Order itself
• From a Contract Estimate (Budget)
• From a Subcontract Schedule
