The information in this section relates to Time Codes within Timesheets. For more detailed information on Time Codes refer to "Time Codes" within the Workbench Setup Guide.
TIME CODES SETUP:
- Control Parameter must allow Time Codes
- Activity Codes must allow Time Codes
- Time Codes must be setup.

- For Time type Time Codes, values can be entered in the Base, Overhead, Other, Time 1, Time 2, Time 3 and Allowance Cost fields. Disbursement Cost should not be used
- For Disbursement type Time Codes, values can be entered only in the Disbursement Cost field.
- Base, Overhead, Other, Time 1, Time 2, Time 3 and Allowance Cost fields should not be used
ACTIVITY CODES SETUP FOR TIME CODE USE
- For Time Codes to be applied to an Activity Code, the Activity Code must be flagged as 'Use Time Codes'.
- Tick the 'Use Time Code' checkbox on the Activity Code Maintenance screen for the selected Activity Code.
TIMESHEET ENTRY FOR TIME CODE USE
Use a Timesheet Entry form that includes Time Codes.
PRICE CODES FOR TIME CODE USE
The labour portion of the Price Code allows entry of the Time Code for retail values.
