A hierarchy of languages is provided for , with each language having a Parent language. This allows say the Canadian French for example, the South American Spanish language to contain just those words which are different to 'French' French"Mexico" Spanish. In the absence of there being a specific Canadian French South American Spanish translation, the translation can drop back to the French "Mexico" Spanish language translation. In the absence of a French Spanish translation for the label we can drop back to the 'Default Language', being the standard English used in Workbench. Fig 1.
