The major use of this Attach File functionality will be to store attached files and emails against a Job. The conventional approach to attaching files to a Job would require the opening of the Job Maintenance screen first for the required Job.

To avoid this, a 'Quick Job Documents' icon is provided on the right of the Workbench menu - the paperclip icon

  • Clicking this paperclip will display the 'Quick Job Documents' screen.

This displays the Job Code and Description of the 30 most recent Jobs that the logged in user has attached files or emails to.

  • Select a Job from the list, or enter / F4 select a Job in the 'Select Job Code' field.
  • Clicking the 'View Attach Files' button, or double clicking the selected line will open the 'Stored File Search Results' screen for that Job. You can then perform all the Attach File functions from that screen.
