Plant Assignment Header

  • Description: up to 50 character description of the Plant Assignment e.g. Sky City Plant Assignment
  • Job Code: is the Job Code to which the Plant Issues are to be costed. Note that there is only one Job Code per Plant Assignment
  • Location: select a valid Plant Location from the dropdown. Typically there will be a Plant Location per site, for easy review and reporting on all Plant Items on a site
  • Default Start Date and Default End Date: is the date range to be used as defaults on the individual Plant Assignment lines. BOTH dates are required fields. If the checkbox next to the Default Start Date is ticked then the entered dates will default onto each of the Plant Assignment Lines
  • Created By: is the person who created the Plant Assignment, including the date created
  • Approved By: is the person who approved the Plant Assignment, including the date approved. Note that only Approved Plant Assignments can be used for creating Plant Issue transactions
  • Assignment Type: an optional grouping for Plant Assignments
  • Closed By: is the person who closed the Plant Assignment. Closed Plant Assignments cannot be used for creating Plant Issue transactions
  • Comment: general text to describe the Plant Assignment in more detail
  • Issue Frequency: Daily – where this is selected, the standard number of issue units per day for the Plant Item across the week can be entered. Note that this is the units associated with the Rate Code used on the individual Plant Assignment Lines, so care is needed to not mix Hours and Days for example. This option will create a Plant Issue transaction per day, unless the 'Issue Summary' checkbox is ticked in which case the individual transactions will be grouped into a single transaction per Plant Item / Job Code / Rate Code combination.
  • Issue Frequency: Weekly – where this is selected, the standard number of issue units per day for the Plant Item for the total week can be entered. Note that this is the units associated with the Rate Code used on the individual Plant Assignment Lines, so care is needed to not mix Hours and Days.
    e.g. A single transaction per Plant Item / Job Code / Rate Code combination is created for the week.
  • Issue Frequency: Monthly – where this is selected, the standard number of issue units per day for the Plant Item across the month can be entered. Note that this is the units associated with the Rate Code used on the individual Plant Assignment Lines, so care is needed to not mix Hours and Days.
    e.g. A single transaction per Plant Item / Job Code / Rate Code combination is created for the month.
  • The 'Use Cluster' button; this allows selection of a Plant Cluster, for importing all the Plant Items in that Cluster into the Plant Assignment
  • The 'Validate Lines' button: This checks the validity of the Activity Codes and Work Centre Codes used on the Plant Assignment Lines
