This module looks at the use of Packing Slips within Workbench.


 

OVERVIEW

Whilst Workbench is not Distribution software, there is a requirement to manage the Delivery of products associated with a Job.

Not all Jobs need to be managed this way. A Job can be designated as 'requiring delivery management'.

The Packing Slip process is provided to:

  • manage a 'Required Quantity' for delivery at the Job Masterfile level
  • allow creation of Packing Slips
  • allow multiple Jobs on the one Packing Slip
  • allow partial deliveries of a Job
  • print / reprint Packing Slips
  • provide a link between Invoices raised and Packing Slip Numbers
  • print Packing Slip details on invoices
