Job Adjustment transactions are used to transfer costs between jobs. A Job Transactions Transfer screen is also provided to move transactions from one job to another. These do not however provide an audit trail of the changes made.
The Journal Job Transactions process provides the mechanism for this transfer, but with an audit trail of the changes by creating a credit transaction against the 'transfer from' job, and a debit transaction against the 'transfer to' job.
Security around this screen is based on users having access to the screen or not. There is no security one in the screen, other than that around Job selection based on Profit Centre Groups, Job Work Centres and Activity Groups.
