On the Edit / View existing Packing Slips screen, click the "Create Packing Slip" button. This opens the New / Edit Packing Slip screen.

Packing Slip Number:
The next Packing Slip Number is populated automatically and cannot be changed

Packing Slip date:
Defaults to Today but can be changed

Description:
Optional short description relating to this Packing Slip

Details:
Optional longer text relating to this Packing Slip

Status:
Defaults to Entered. When the Packing Slip has had a Final Print, the Status is automatically changed to Sent. Sent Packing Slips cannot be edited. If the User has the Admin Function Change Packing Slip Status, the Status can be manually changed back to Entered if changes are required to the Packing Slip.

Deliver To:
Select a Delivery Address to which the goods are to be sent

Created By:
The name of the logged in User and the date of creation default and cannot be changed

When this data has been entered, click the Get Lines button

The Jobs to Deliver screen will display.

Enter filter options if required to

find:

  • all Jobs for a selected Client
  • A selected Job
  • All Jobs with a selected Order Number (off the job Maintenance screen Order Number field)

Only Jobs with a Balance to Deliver Qty will appear.

Tick the checkbox for Jobs you wish to include in the Packing Slip. This will pass these jobs back to the Packing Slip screen for editing of Quantities if required
