The Plant Management screen provides the central point from which to:
- list Plant Items based on a broad range of selection criteria available on the Filter tab
- perform functions on a selected Plant Item using the buttons provided
- run Plant reports from the Reports tab for the Plant Items selectedThe four columns displayed (Serial No, Driver, Registration and Location are determined using the Control Parameter 'Field List for Edit View Plant'. This allows the display of any of the fields on the Plant Details tab in these columns, with control over the display column width, to a maximum of 4 columns.
Button options:
- Display; : display the Plant Items on the Details tab resulting from the selection options entered
- Remove Filter; : remove the entered selection options. Note that the Job Type for Plant Items will always remain
- New Plant; : create a new Plant ItemMaintain;

- Maintain: go to Plant Maintenance for the selected Plant Item
- Enquire:
- Meters; : display the Meter Reading screen for the selected Plant Item, to view existing meter readings or enter new ones
- Assignments; : view the Plant Assignments to which the selected Plant Item belongs
- Service Orders; : view the Plant Service Orders set up for the selected Plant Item
- Statistics; : view the Statistics records for the selected Plant Item

Filter options:
- The main Details from the Plant Details tab are included in the selection options
- After entering the appropriate selections, clicking on the Details tab will display the resulting Plant Items. Clicking on the Reports tab will allow selection of a Plant Report, which will be run with the selection options previously entered
Reports:
Reports of Report Type 'Plant' appear in the reports list, based on the Report security Group of the logged in user.
