- A Job and Subjob/s can already exist. This allows the Quote Number to be the same as the job if so desired.
- A Job and SubJob/s can be created at the time of allocating a number to a quote. This allows the Quote Number to be the same as the job if so desired. These jobs are created as a subroutine of the Quote creation. See New Quote Setup in this Manual.
- A Job and SubJob/s can be created at a later point through Job Management and linked to an existing quote or through the "New Job" button on the Quote Header. This will link the new job number into the existing quote.
Either from "New Job" in Job Management, on the Quote Header or with "Generate Quote Code" in the "New Quote Set Up", will take you to the New Job screen.
- It is possible to have various parts of an accepted quote going to different jobs as long as the jobs have a Header/SubJob relationship. The Header does not have to be a level 1 job as long as the Header/Sub relationship exists. If the Quote Header is allocated to a Job then the Job Number dropdown on the Cost Sheets will show the Job and SubJob/s that you can use on the Cost Sheet.
